Begin With Us…

Making decisions that put your safety and the safety of your children first is the most important decision you will ever make. Your courage can often change the path of your entire family. Remember, calling the hotline doesn’t mean you have to end your relationship, come to the shelter, or even seek services at all. Yet, we are here for you and understand these hard decisions you have to make. Here are a few initial suggestions:

  • If you don’t know where to start, begin by calling the crisis line
  • If you want to plan your exit. Call the crisis line
  • If you’re ready to leave and need help. Call the crisis line
  • If you or your children feel unsafe. Call the crisis line

The Community Works Crisis Line is free and available 24/7, 365 days a year. Professionally trained advocates answer your call.

Planning for your safety works best when you work through it with an advocate. While we believe you know your relationship best, we’ve worked with thousands of survivors who have been in similar situations. Remember, everything you tell us is confidential, and we always have your best interests in mind.
