Tanya Aldaco, Community Outreach Manager

Tanya Aldaco leads Community Works efforts to educate the community and raise awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and stalking. Tanya also oversees the helpline and volunteer program, providing invaluable resources and support to survivors. With a background in education and six years of experience in child welfare social work, Tanya has dedicated her career to advocating for and supporting vulnerable populations.

As a survivor herself, Tanya has a unique perspective on the profound impact of violence on families and communities. She is committed to giving survivors a voice, educating others, and working toward a future where everyone can live free from violence. Born and raised in Southern Oregon, Tanya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and her passion for social justice drives her work in building stronger, safer communities. Tanya firmly believes that change begins with awareness and community action, and she is passionate about empowering others to join the fight against violence.

When she’s not working, Tanya enjoys spending time outdoors with her two sons, embracing the beauty of the Southern Oregon landscape she calls home.
