Vanessa Espino
Vanessa Espino is a former advocate of Community Works and believes the work the agency does with the community is impactful and priceless. Her dedication to survivors is admirable and she is a valuable member of the Board of Directors.
Vanessa was born and raised in Acapulco, Mexico and has lived in the Rogue Valley for over 20 years. She is a Victim’s Advocate for the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office. Her extensive background in advocacy extends to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and serves many ethnic groups. Since Vanessa’s was young, her family volunteered and supported a children’s orphanage. Vanessa continues to visit and play the children when she travels to Mexico. She finds her time spent there is precious. In her time off, Vanessa enjoys long walks, playing volleyball and family gatherings.
